Sam's birthday party!

Sam had his 4th birthday party on Sunday, and we had a blast! He got to play with his best friend and the adults got to visit and have some great food! I thought I would share some of the highlights of the party. Sam got some great gifts, and he all around loved his 4th birthday! The theme was Hot Wheels! As you know, Sam LOVES cars and trucks.

First, I thought I would share the cake that I made for Sam. This is my first time decorating a cake this way, and I thought it turned out awesome! I had help from Cami, and we are both now addicted! We are going to take a cake decorating class! What do you think?

Samuel Edward Limuti

4 years ago today, I gave birth to my beautiful 3 pd, 2.5 oz. 16.5 inches long baby boy. He was 11 weeks early but oh, so amazing. For some reason, I am going through a lot of emotions today remembering his birth and the events that came after. He was in the NICU for 2 months and for those 2 months our lives changed. All he wanted to do was come out and meet his mom and dad and see what the heck was going on out here. He has not changed one bit! He has to know what is going on around him and always has a ton of questions! We love you so very much Samuel, what would life be without you?! Happy Birthday.

Hot, Hot, Hot!!

It was 86 degrees on Monday and Tuesday, so we spent the day in the pool. What better way to spend a day like that? I think we are going to try to hit the beach soon!

Como Zoo

The library was having a summer kickoff for their reading program at the Como Zoo. We went along with the Enke boys and their mama, Cami and we had a great time and an awesome day! Here are a few pics.. Here we are looking at the monkeys.

Jack was so enthralled with all of the animals! He could not stop looking and pointing! He especially loved the monkeys and the seals.

I bet if he could talk he would talk about how cool those seals were!

Then we saw some buffalo.This is what the boys do the entire time we are together! Run around and scream, and just have a generally great time that boys do!
Then all the boys went on a ride with the cars! You know how the boys love that! Sam was a little freaked out at first, because he didnt know what it was going to do, but then once it started moving, he loved it!
Jack, on the other hand, LOVED it! He couldnt stop smiling. He just smiled and drove the car the entire time! Arent the boys cute?!
Then, it was time to cool down with a bomb pop! It took awhile but he got it done!
It was finally time to go. Goodbye Como Zoo! Until next time! Isnt it cute how the boys are holding hands? Only best friends.

Champlin Carnival Saturday night, and we were there just long enough to have the boys try cotton candy for the first time. They, of course loved it!

We tried so hard to get a fabulous group shot of the boys for the dad's for father's day. This is about the best we could get, but its still cute isn't it?! We made Saturn shirts for the kids so we could show the dad's how cool it is to work for Saturn!

The Limuti and Enke boys!

Sam, Jack and I have been hanging with the Enke family, Cami, Hayden and Eli. All of our boys are very close in age, so we have been having a great time! Sam and Hayden are best friends in the whole world! They hate being apart. Here is a great picture I just happend to get. Arent they cute!??

Sam in school

Sam went to preschool for one month and he LOVED it! He improved dramatically, and he will be going to a school readiness room next September. He will be going for 2 days a week. He will wonder why he goes from everyday to 2 days, but he will love it. Here are 2 pictures, one from the first day of school and one from the first day waiting for the bus. We have talked up being on a bus for so long, that the day came and you would think that he would be scared to get on a big ol' scary bus, but he marched right up to it and my brave little boy got right on! I cried!
