4th of July!

I totally forgot to post 4th of July pictures! Every year we go to the Coon Rapids fireworks display. We went on a few rides at the little carnival that they had, then we played some football, ate some cotton candy, and lit some sparklers before the big fireworks display.

Whoo-hoo! We had a great time! This was the first year Sam really enjoyed the fireworks and thought they were cool. The last 4 years, he cried and was petrified of them. So, it was nice!

Mississippi Point Park

We recently went to a park nearby in Champlin, and had a great time. Here are some random shots.

Sam was throwing a fit for some reason, and I snapped the picture as soon as it hit. Great timing!! Isnt it hilarious?

So, he realized what he had done, so he ran back and told me to take it again, this time with a smile. Some might remember a picture taken awhile ago with Lucy from Peanuts in front of Candyland where he had a pout. He doesnt want to do that again! HA! :0)

Magician and Juggler...

The library has been sponsoring some shows this summer for the kids. This past week we saw a magician and a comedian juggler. The kids LOVED the juggler, he was very funny and put on quite the show.
This is at the end of the magician, all the boys got sunglasses to promote sun awareness, and I dont think my kids have put them down since! Isnt this a great picture?

Day of Sam's birthday

So, the day of Sam's actual birthday, (the 29th) we all went and had a great day with the Enke's! (there are a lot of pics, but I like to show everything off! :) ) First, we started out taking pics of the start of our grand day of adventure in the van, ready to go!

With a stop at the library first where we all picked out books, we went to Saturn to see Daddy. All the boys love playing in the cars.

We had a little incident with a sign and falling down. Eli had a bloody nose for awhile, but it was soon forgotten!

We then went to the pet store and saw all the cute puppies and kitties and then had a pretzel. We then went to the bowling alley where we played video games! One of Sam's fave things to do. Here he is riding the motorcycle.

Sam Birthday party!

So, Samuel had his birthday party on Sunday the 28th, and we had our wonderful BFF's over for a great and fabulous birthday party. The Enke's, and Andrea and Brianna. (we were missing Mike and Brennen! next time, boys!) All the pics are backwards again (I will get used to Blogger changing the pic format, but it will take time!) Sam had a great time!
Happy Birthday to Sam! We had cupcakes instead of cake, and it was great!

Sam got a fish for his birthday from the Enke's, which we promptly called Jeff Gordon because of the colors. Here he is feeding him for the first time.
